My name is Ma'iinganikwe, and I am of Ojibwe descent.  My journey along the Red Road has been an interesting one.  I have come from not knowing basically anything about my heritage to fully embracing it and all it's beliefs and principles.  Throughout my journey, I have over come many obstacles from physical issues to spiritual issues.

One of the things that have helped me through this is working with my hands, so I learned how to make dreamcatchers, mandelas, medicine bags, etc.

Over time, my friends started asking me to make things for them - so I did!  Well, you can probably guess what happened next...?  Those friends started telling their friends who in turn told more friends, and so on, and so on.  At first I started just sending out some digital pictures of my crafts, but that was taking up way too much of my time.  I needed an easier, faster way to do this.

Finally, I decided that the only way I could successfully keep up with who ordered what was to create my own website so that lots of potential customers could view my crafts with minimal effort from me.  This has allowed me to continue doing what I like to do best - my crafts!!
